Once there was a boy named Carson. He was 11 years old and he liked to turn junk into useful new things. One day, as he was looking through his garage, he found an old skate- board. It was worn out and did not have any wheels. He rubbed it to see how smooth it was. A genie popped out of a hole in the bottom!

The Adventures of Gabrielle and Kate : The Mystery of the Snapping Swamp (#1)

Chapter one:Getting Across

"Now how do we get across?" questioned Kate. Kate and Gabrielle were going across a smooth- looking stream. However, as soon as they set foot in the boat, they found that the waters were pushing them downstream as hard as you could think of.
"We might be able to walk across those tiny stones." said Gabrielle, but Kate cut in
"How do we get the boat across this rushing stream?"
"Good point." stated Gabrielle.
"Then we can't get to Granny's house." moaned Kate. Then, all of a sudden, they both remembered that they could swim.
"I got it!" shouted Kate. "We can swim across, while pulling this small boat behind us!"
"Great idea!" answered Gabrielle. Then they started across the treacherous waters, and made it across.

Chapter two:All About Gabrielle and Kate

Now we will find out all about our characters! Keep checking!
